Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive payroll processing emphasizing precision, compliance, and excellent service delivery.
  • Lead or assist in payroll and HRIS implementations, upgrades, and testing phases, ensuring smooth go-live transitions.
  • Perform payroll compliance audits, identify potential risks, and suggest actionable improvements.
  • Provide expert advice on payroll governance, internal controls, relevant legislation, and best practices.
  • Foster robust client relationships by delivering practical solutions coupled with outstanding service.
  • Drive process enhancements and mentor client teams through knowledge transfer initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess more than five years of experience managing comprehensive Australian payroll functions at a senior or management level.
  • Deep understanding of Australian payroll laws, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, superannuation, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with major payroll or HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Dayforce, or similar systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify and implement process enhancements.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Proactive and adaptable mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in diverse client settings.
  • A client-centric, results-oriented approach that builds trust and adapts across various project scenarios.
