Role overview

Westinghouse Electric Company is hiring a Payroll Analyst for its Mannheim location in Germany. This role sits within the Global Payroll function and focuses on the accurate processing of payroll, audits, reconciliations, and day-to-day coordination with the payroll provider.

What you will do

  • Review and verify payroll outputs, including G2N/WTR reports, payslips, and time data reports.
  • Support payroll compliance activities, including legally required third-party payments and reporting.
  • Keep employee payroll records up to date, including both voluntary and mandatory deductions.
  • Prepare recurring payroll reports as well as ad hoc reports when needed.
  • Help strengthen and stabilize the working relationship with the payroll vendor.
  • Maintain written documentation for compliance steps and payroll processes.
  • Handle reporting for pension and benefits contributions, including employer matching.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance systems to ensure payroll and pension data stays accurate and is reported correctly to pension administrators.
  • Assist with resolving issues related to salary, insurance, and pension accounts.

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in economics or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a German payroll environment.
  • Prior exposure to SAP and SuccessFactors is an advantage.
  • Strong command of payroll terminology and processes.
  • Good knowledge of German payroll and pension legislation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written.
