About Leapcure
Leapcure is dedicated to connecting patients with clinical trial treatments, particularly for individuals whose current medical options are insufficient. We have contributed to saving over 1 million research hours, making a significant global impact on healthcare.
The Patient Success Team at Leapcure is focused on matching patients with suitable clinical trial opportunities. This involves identifying eligible candidates, fostering trust through clear and consistent communication, and providing comprehensive support to patients throughout the enrollment journey. We are seeking a Patient Success Lead who possesses outstanding organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset to join our collaborative and close-knit team.
About the Role
This position is ideal for an individual who thrives on maintaining organization, is committed to patient well-being, and values being a reliable contributor to a team pursuing a meaningful mission. You will have substantial responsibility for managing site relationships and the operational intricacies essential for keeping studies on schedule, working closely with the wider Patient Success team and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with potential patients to evaluate their eligibility and guide them through the pre-enrollment stages.
- Coordinate and organize outreach efforts with fellow Patient Success Coordinators and team leaders.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of consistent operational workflows, ensuring comprehensive management of shared patient populations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for assigned clinical sites, managing operational relationships with site coordinators for active studies.
- Conduct regular meetings with site teams to ensure alignment on referral status, site capacity, and any obstacles to patient enrollment.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for relationship enhancement or potential concerns to Patient Success and Client Engagement leadership.
- Maintain and update the patient referral tracker for designated study sites, ensuring its accuracy as a primary data source for the team.
- Manage associated action items, tracking subsequent steps and follow-up schedules for referred patients across active sites.
- Proactively identify potential issues or at-risk referrals and implement solutions to prevent impacts on enrollment timelines.
- Collaborate with the Client Engagement team to relay updates from patients and sites, acting as the representative for Leapcure Patient Success in key client interactions.
- Compile feedback from Patient Success Coordinators and share these insights with the digital recruitment team to inform strategic improvements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in clinical trial coordination, patient outreach, healthcare operations, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to manage numerous concurrent tasks effectively.
- A strong collaborative spirit with excellent interpersonal and open communication skills.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, with confidence in representing the team in interactions with clinical sites.
- Proven experience in managing a tracker, CRM, or project management tool with a significant level of complexity.
- Comfort and capability in working independently within a dynamic, remote work environment.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working directly with clinical sites, study coordinators, or Principal Investigators (PIs).
- Familiarity with Institutional Review Board (IRB) regulated research protocols or Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- A background in data analysis or experience in generating reports from outreach data.
- Prior experience in mentoring or informally supporting junior team members.
