Role Overview
The Patient Services Specialist - Patient Engagement is responsible for guiding patients through the healthcare network with personalized assistance. The role supports scheduling, basic technical help, and general navigation, while also serving as a central contact point that improves both patient satisfaction and operational flow.
What You'll Do
- Deliver coordinated, patient-focused support across a complex healthcare environment.
- Help patients identify physicians and arrange appointments or classes.
- Provide first-line technical assistance for patient health applications.
- Serve as an information hub and initial access point into the health system.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and potential patients.
Experience and Requirements
Candidates should bring at least 2 years of customer service experience, ideally in healthcare, along with 2 or more years of virtual customer interaction by phone. Prior technical support experience of 1 year or more is preferred.
Pay and Compensation
Compensation is hourly and varies by location, with different minimum and maximum rates based on region. Final pay will depend on experience and other relevant factors. Additional earning opportunities may include shift differentials, overtime, premiums, and bonuses.
