Job description
Role Overview
This is a fully remote full-time opportunity with ConcertoCare. The Patient Engagement Specialist is often the first person patients speak with, and this role acts as both a patient-facing guide and a representative of the organization. The position focuses on helping patients complete intake steps and coordinating their first visits with clinical teams.
Schedule
- Work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, aligned to CST/EST.
- The role is 100% remote.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, along with a competitive incentive plan. What You’ll Be Doing
- Reach out to patients by phone in a courteous, caring, and professional way.
- Use in-person outreach when needed to connect with harder-to-reach patients and improve acceptance rates.
- Manage your assigned outreach queue independently.
- Record call results and follow-up actions accurately in systems such as Salesforce and the EMR.
- Book patient appointments after successful outreach.
- Handle incoming calls from new patients and provide support.
- Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or in a patient-focused role.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Experience in sales and a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals is preferred.
- Prior appointment scheduling experience is preferred.
- CNA or MA experience is considered an advantage.
- Background in a call center environment is a plus.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to patients.
