Role Summary

The Patient Communication Specialist will manage and monitor patient communication across CRM and hospital software, with a focus on WhatsApp and SMS workflows. This role involves keeping an eye on message delivery, handling template approvals, spotting issues in automation flows, and working with technical and vendor partners to resolve communication problems. The position also supports the creation of new patient outreach journeys and regular reporting on communication performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review all outbound SMS and WhatsApp messages sent from CRM and hospital systems on a daily basis.
  • Track template approval progress in Meta Business Manager, including whether templates fall under Utility or Marketing categories, as well as the SMS DLT portal.
  • Spot delivery failures, rejected templates, and drops in message engagement, then escalate them when needed.
  • Work with technical teams and external vendors to correct, resubmit, or troubleshoot any flagged templates.
  • Identify issues in current WhatsApp and SMS automation journeys and flag them for improvement.
  • Support the development of new patient communication flows such as appointment reminders, lead follow-ups, and drip campaigns.
  • Prepare and maintain daily and weekly reports on the health of communication campaigns and message delivery.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has 1 to 4 years of experience in CRM operations, digital marketing operations, or customer communication. They should be comfortable handling WhatsApp Business API template work, including approval tracking, quality ratings, and opt-in/opt-out management. A working understanding of DLT SMS compliance under the TRAI framework is important, along with the ability to review dashboards and failure logs. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills are required. The role also needs someone who can communicate fluently in both Hindi and English because patient messaging is bilingual.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Salesforce, LeadSquared, or another CRM platform.
  • Prior exposure to healthcare, hospital, or health-tech environments.
  • Working familiarity with Meta Business Manager and WhatsApp Business Account administration.

Location and Experience

This is an onsite role based in Zirakpur, Chandigarh. The expected experience range is 1 to 4 years.

Compensation

The offered salary range is INR 20,000 to INR 50,000 per month, depending on experience and fit.
