About Humber Boulevard Baptist Church
Established in 1920, Humber Boulevard Baptist Church has been a vital and active community for over a century. Situated near Black Creek Drive and Weston Road in Toronto, Ontario, the church continues to passionately serve its evolving neighbourhood with unwavering spiritual commitment.

The Bible is the fundamental authority for faith and practice, with a belief that individuals should freely study Scriptures under the Holy Spirit's guidance. Qualifications and Requirements
- Personable and easy to engage with
- Deeply grounded in Scripture, sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading
- Comprehensive understanding of Biblical teachings and Christian lifestyle
- Active personal faith in Jesus Christ
- Capable of leading a Sunday service lasting approximately 75 minutes
- Dynamic and effective public speaker
- Experience as a worship leader; proficiency with musical instruments or audio-visual systems preferred
- Bi-vocational status is desirable
- Accredited by or currently pursuing accreditation with Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ)
- Successful completion of a vulnerable sector background check is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging, Scripture-based sermons relevant to congregants' lives
- Maintain a strong alignment with Baptist values as detailed in the church constitution
- Lead weekly Bible study sessions and support the Women’s Ministry
- Plan strategies focused on church growth and membership expansion
- Provide pastoral counseling when needed, including visiting the sick and addressing congregational concerns
- Lead congregational singing and coordinate worship services, including managing order of service and music selections communicated ahead of time
- Spiritual leadership of the congregation and church officers, ensuring adherence to the church constitution
