Role overview
The Passenger Departure Officer in Passenger Services supports airport departure processes end to end. The role focuses on smooth passenger movement, accurate boarding coordination, compliance checks, and helping flights depart on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Track check-in and boarding flow throughout the departure process.
- Verify passenger documents carefully and ensure they are in order.
- Work closely with airline and airport teams to keep operations aligned.
- Operate and update departure control system (DCS) activities as required.
- Resolve boarding mismatches and respond to last-minute changes in the operation.
- Follow airline and airport rules, procedures, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- A graduate degree in any field is required.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in passenger handling or departure control is preferred.
- Prior exposure to departure control systems (DCS) is an advantage.
- Strong verbal communication and practical problem-solving ability are needed.
