Overview

Atlantic Emergency Solutions is actively seeking a Parts Specialist to support our Service Centers in Milton, WV. This vital role ensures that technicians maintain emergency vehicles like fire trucks and ambulances in optimal condition. The position offers consistent hours Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a clean and organized workspace, and a structured environment valuing precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, welcoming customers, handling mail distribution, purchasing office supplies, and processing credit card transactions.
  • Complete and update reports including Salesforce entries, CDL tracking, credit card reconciliations, and reimbursement documentation.
  • Oversee payroll processing by correcting discrepancies in technician time records.
  • Generate repair orders detailing required repairs and tasks.
  • Prepare parts quotes and estimates needed for repairs.
  • Research and order necessary parts by creating purchase orders.
  • Receive, pick, ship, and return inventory items while maintaining overall inventory control.
  • Process parts invoices and credits in the CDK system and forward invoices for payment to accounting.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts according to company procedures.
  • Pre-invoice internal and external customer work orders to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, secure, well-organized parts room environment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in administrative, service, or parts-related roles; dealership or heavy-duty vehicle environments preferred.
  • Strong organizational abilities with capacity to multitask efficiently.
  • Familiarity with CDK or similar service management software preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening processes.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands
