Parts Manager / Stores Person

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Parts Manager / Stores Person to join our expanding agricultural machinery and plant dealership based in Adare, County Limerick. The role involves playing a crucial part in the growth and efficiency of our parts department, representing leading international brands such as CaseIH Agricultural, CaseIH Construction, Kverneland, and more. Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries for parts both in-person and via telephone.
• Use supplier online systems to order parts accurately.
• Maintain precise stock levels and assist with regular inventory audits.
• Manage stock orders seasonally to ensure excellent parts availability.
• Accurately process purchase invoices through dealership computer systems.
• Receive and inspect incoming stock and log goods appropriately.
• Prepare customer orders for dispatch efficiently and securely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department environment.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding part availability and promotional activities.
• Monitor and adjust pricing to keep parts sales competitive and profitable.
• Properly allocate parts to retail, workshop, or warranty accounts.
• Collaborate with management to further develop and expand the parts department.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of four years’ experience in parts or stores roles, preferably within agricultural, plant, or machinery dealerships.
• Strong understanding of agricultural machinery with ability to interpret parts catalogues and manuals.
• Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and eagerness to learn dealership software systems.
• Capable of working independently and positively within a team environment.

Working Conditions

• Regular working hours from Monday to Friday.
• Seasonal Saturday shifts during peak business periods.

Compensation and Benefits
