About the Role
Join Joe Morgan Honda as a Parts Manager and lead a dynamic Parts Department in a fast-paced automotive environment. This role requires a motivated and experienced professional dedicated to superior customer support and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations within the Parts Department to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, preventing excess stock and shortages through vigilant monitoring.
- Establish and nurture strong vendor and supplier relationships to secure quality parts and services.
- Coordinate timely ordering, receipt, and distribution of automotive parts.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Department to enhance productivity and customer experience.
- Track departmental profitability and performance, setting actionable goals to drive improvement.
- Recruit, train, and develop the parts team, fostering a motivated and capable workforce.
- Maintain precise records adhering to dealership policies and manufacturer standards.
- Interpret performance reports to devise strategies that boost sales and operational efficiency.
- Provide exceptional service to retail, wholesale, and in-house customers.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of background and drug screenings.
- Possession of a valid and clean driving record.
- Proven automotive parts management experience is essential; Honda experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership with team-building capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, communicative, and multitasking skills suited for a brisk environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control, purchasing procedures, and parts operations.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems, with CDK experience considered a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving aptitude.
