What the role involves
In this position, you will be responsible for the daily running of the parts department, guiding a committed team and ensuring excellent service for both internal and external customers. You will work with the broader dealership team to improve results, keep stock under control, and support the business’s ongoing success.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and grow the parts team
- Oversee inventory, stock management, and supplier partnerships
- Improve department performance, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Deliver high-quality service to retail, trade, and internal clients
- Collaborate closely with the service and sales teams
- Review and refine processes to lift productivity
- Keep stock records accurate and maintain healthy availability levels
- Support health and safety practices in the workplace
