Job description

About the Company

Al-Futtaim Group began in the 1930s as a trading business and has grown into a large privately held regional organization with operations across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Headquartered in Dubai, it operates through five business areas: automotive, financial services, real estate, retail, and healthcare. The group works with more than 200 globally respected brands and is driven by entrepreneurship, customer focus, and growth aligned with changing customer needs.

Guided by the values of respect, excellence, collaboration, and integrity, the organization aims to improve the lives and aspirations of its customers every day.

Role Overview

The Parts Man will handle the physical movement, storage, picking, packing, and delivery of genuine automotive parts inside the dealership warehouse. This position is important for keeping stock accurate, supporting workshop productivity, and making sure parts are available on time for service jobs, retail customers, and transfers between branches.

The role calls for a disciplined, detail-oriented, and active team member who can maintain warehouse standards and safely manage valuable, delicate, and high-voltage components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming consignments, compare them with purchase orders and delivery paperwork, and confirm part numbers, quantities, and item condition.
  • Raise discrepancies such as shortages, damage, or wrong deliveries with the Parts Supervisor without delay.
  • Store parts in the correct bins using FIFO practices and manufacturer storage rules.
  • Keep sensitive items such as fluids, tyres, batteries, lubricants, fragile components, hazardous goods, and high-voltage battery parts in the proper storage conditions and handle them with approved protective methods.
  • Pick the right parts for workshop repair orders, retail sales, body shop demand, and inter-branch transfers using assigned pick lists.
  • Double-check quantities and part numbers before dispatch to reduce workshop delays and customer issues.
  • Pack items securely for transport, paying extra attention to oversized, fragile, and high-value parts.
  • Send parts to internal teams, customers, and other branches on schedule while keeping dispatch records and proof of delivery.
  • Support urgent workshop requests to help reduce vehicle downtime and service interruptions.
  • Carry out daily cycle counts and assist with scheduled stock counts to maintain traceability and inventory accuracy.
  • Watch for damaged, expired, obsolete, or slow-moving stock and report it for corrective action.
  • Maintain proper rotation of stock and reduce shrinkage, losses, and binning mistakes.
  • Keep bin labels, stock locations, and warehouse layout accurate and organized.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse and uphold 5S standards across all storage and aisle areas.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, trolleys, and other handling equipment safely within certification limits.
  • Follow HSE rules, including safe lifting, PPE use, chemical handling, and hazardous material procedures.
  • Comply with OEM standards, customs rules, audit expectations, and internal controls related to traceability and inventory management.

Requirements

  • High School Certificate or Vocational Diploma is required.
  • A qualification in Logistics, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain is an added advantage.
  • Forklift certification is strongly preferred.
  • Between 1 and 3 years of experience in a parts warehouse, automotive dealership, or logistics setting is needed.
  • Experience working with genuine automotive spare parts is highly desirable.
  • Background in high-volume dealership warehouse operations will be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of warehouse modules in DMS, ERP, or WMS systems is needed.
  • Ability to use barcode scanning tools, manage stock movement records, and handle warehouse documents is important.
  • Must be able to read and verify part numbers, pick lists, shipping papers, and stock transfer requests accurately.
  • Basic computer skills for stock updates, goods receipt confirmation, and inventory reporting are required.
  • Basic reading and writing ability in Arabic and English is needed for warehouse documentation.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on warehouse role based in a dealership setting in Saudi Arabia. The job involves active physical work, safe handling of specialized automotive parts, and close coordination with workshop and branch operations.
