Job Overview
This role serves as the initial contact point for all inquiries regarding the sales and technical interpretation of spare parts in the CAPS product range. The position directly supports both local branch functions and the broader National Parts Group, ensuring the delivery of customer-centered, efficient parts services.
Key Duties
- Serve as the main contact for customers and internal teams seeking spare parts details, quotations, and technical guidance.
- Accurately interpret parts specifications across CAPS product lines and handle order processing with professionalism and precision.
- Support local branch success by sharing parts and inventory expertise and assist with stock control and dispatch operations.
- Engage in branch meetings and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Work collaboratively with National Parts Group members to exchange technical knowledge, balance workloads, and implement improvements.
- Contribute to national projects targeting enhancement of parts interpretation and customer satisfaction.
Stakeholder Relationships
- Internal: Branch sales, service, and store teams; National Parts Group colleagues; Branch and National Parts Group Managers; CAPS technical and engineering teams.
- External: CAPS customers and clients; suppliers and manufacturers for part sourcing and technical queries; freight and logistics partners.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated experience in parts interpretation or technical sales, preferably in industrial or mechanical industries.
- Strong mechanical component and system knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude.
- Capability to work effectively within team environments.
- Experience with inventory and ERP software, such as Pronto or similar.
- Strong attention to detail complemented by strong problem-solving skills.
