Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Partnerships Manager responsible for accelerating customer engagement and growth across consumer financial products like cards, remittances, and consumer credit. This role requires overseeing the complete partnership lifecycle—sourcing, negotiation, integration, and ongoing management—to build collaborations that boost product loyalty, repeat usage, and transaction volume. The ideal candidate embraces an entrepreneurial spirit, thrives in ambiguous environments, and takes full ownership to deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with leading consumer brands in categories such as digital entertainment, retail, travel, and food delivery.
- Develop innovative partner-funded incentive programs that increase transaction frequency and position our cards as top choices.
- Lead go-to-market activities for partner promotions, coordinating with marketing teams on campaigns and measuring return on investment to maximize awareness and spending.
- Coordinate with Merchant Product partnership managers to ensure alignment and maximize impact across consumer and merchant solutions.
- Manage ongoing partner relationships through quarterly business reviews, performance dashboards, and swift resolution of service or compliance issues.
- Maintain a forward-looking, nine-month partnership strategy by monitoring competitor offerings and identifying opportunities to enhance our value proposition and grow the partnership pipeline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Business, Product, Growth, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Data to align objectives, meet commercial and technical requirements, and enable successful partnership launches.
Candidate Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or loyalty programs within payments, fintech, or consumer technology industries.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing commercial, marketing, or revenue-sharing agreements with brands.
- Proficiency in data analysis using business intelligence tools or spreadsheets to assess opportunities and track partnership outcomes.
- Strong commercial judgement to evaluate partnership economics, model returns on investment, and design financially sound partner-funded offerings.
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and communication skills to engage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to bridge communication between finance, product, and marketing functions to synchronize goals and advance partnership initiatives.
