About the Role
This newly established position within a new division of an established financial services company offers a unique career opportunity. Based in Auckland, New Zealand, the role focuses on managing and expanding a portfolio of partners in high-growth sectors such as Health & Wellness, IVF clinics, cosmetic dentistry, and Home Services. It combines the autonomy and fast-paced environment of a start-up with the support and resources of a reputable brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture robust relationships with a varied portfolio of partner businesses across New Zealand’s North and South Islands.
- Proactively identify and implement strategies to enhance revenue and overall partner performance.
- Leverage data and commercial intelligence to drive insightful decisions and meaningful conversations with partners.
- Conduct frequent check-ins, performance evaluations, and strategic planning meetings.
- Collaborate across departments to address challenges and optimize partner outcomes.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new partners ensuring seamless integration of solutions.
- Travel within New Zealand to partner locations and clinics, with occasional trips to Melbourne approximately three times annually.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in new business development or B2B sales within the financial services sector.
- A keen commercial mindset with a natural drive to identify growth opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively influence and engage stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Adept at thriving in dynamic and evolving work environments.
- Confident in using analytical data to support business decisions and partner discussions.
- Experience or knowledge in financial services, payments, retail, or similar industries is advantageous.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Understanding of financial products such as unsecured lending, payments, credit cards, installment lending, or related services.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary up to NZD 150,000 annually.
- Quarterly performance incentives up to NZD 10,000.
- Employer contribution of 4% to KiwiSaver retirement scheme.
- Permanent employment status with significant growth potential as the division expands.
- Hybrid working arrangement with two days in the office, reducing to one day when partnering externally.
