Partnership Development & School Outreach Officer

Role Overview

Bright Techno Tonic PLC is expanding its network of school partnerships in Addis Ababa and other parts of Ethiopia, and is seeking a relationship-focused professional to support that growth. The role sits within PR and Partnerships and reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

This is a field-based position centered on building and managing relationships with private schools, representing the company at school events, and turning conversations into signed partnership agreements that help bring the company’s platforms to Ethiopian students.

Key Responsibilities

• Reach out to, connect with, and build relationships with private school directors, administrators, and other decision-makers on behalf of the company.
• Attend graduations, closing ceremonies, academic gatherings, and similar school functions to represent the brand and open partnership discussions.
• Introduce the partnership offering to school leaders and support the process from the first meeting through to a completed agreement.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with current partner schools so they remain active, engaged, and satisfied.
• Record outreach efforts, pipeline updates, and partnership progress in the company’s internal tracking system.
• Work with the Creative Production team to make sure brochures, printed materials, and event kits are prepared for school visits.
• Act as a professional representative of the company’s values during every interaction with schools.
• Provide weekly progress updates to the Chief Marketing Officer, including outreach results, challenges, and pipeline movement.

Candidate Profile

The company is looking for someone who is confident initiating conversations with senior school leadership, well organized, self-driven, and able to handle several school relationships at once. The position also requires regular fieldwork and travel within Addis Ababa.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, school relations, or institutional outreach.
• Strong spoken and written fluency in both Amharic and English.
• A polished, professional presence and the confidence to speak with senior school representatives.
• Good planning and organizational ability, along with the self-motivation to work independently.
• Comfort with ongoing fieldwork and travel around Addis Ababa.

Preferred Background

• Previous exposure to private schools, educational organizations, NGOs, or partnership-oriented environments.
• An existing network within the education sector would be an advantage.
• Prior work in partnership development, institutional outreach, or business development is desirable.
