Currently, we are deploying a €112M fund aimed at financing around 40 early-stage ventures pushing the limits of AI and frontier technologies to create a better future for all.
Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Chief of Staff to collaborate closely with the Partners in Berlin, starting in September. As an integral member of our compact team, this role carries significant responsibility — acting as a trusted advisor and managing high-impact projects that empower us to move rapidly and deliver value to founders, investors, and society.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Partners on fund strategy and critical initiatives shaping the firm's direction.
- Assist with deal sourcing to identify transformative founding teams in sectors like health, energy, and AI safety.
- Manage relationships with limited partners and investors through reporting, updates, and supporting fundraising efforts to uphold the firm’s high standards.
- Drive operational enhancements by optimizing internal processes, infrastructure, and technology, including advancing AI and tech stacks for greater team efficiency.
- Expand and deepen Revent's network across VC, tech, and startup ecosystems, fostering valuable long-term relationships.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Demonstrates entrepreneurial drive — experience founding companies, projects, or initiatives is highly valued, or strong ambition to do so.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and proactively identifies and structures opportunities without waiting for direction.
- Excels in emotional intelligence, adept at reading room dynamics and tailoring communication styles across diverse personalities.
- Possesses curiosity and clarity of thought, eager to learn underlying reasons and articulate insights with precision.
- Embraces a builder’s mindset, taking initiative to co-create and evolve an emerging firm culture and operations.
- Shares a commitment to advancing companies that solve significant global challenges with mission-driven focus.
- Committed to excellence and continuous improvement with a high personal standard for quality work.
- Comfortable with AI-driven technologies and enthusiastic about developing operational systems that leverage emerging tools.
Additional Details
- Full-time onsite position based in Berlin.
- Ideally 1 to 4 years of experience in dynamic work environments; internships count.
- Compensation ranges from €60,000 to €90,000 annually based on experience, including performance bonuses and carried interest components.
- Role serves as a strong foundation for launching future startups or joining fast-growing companies.
- Candidates should be ready to commit 12 to 24 months and must have full work authorization for Germany as visa sponsorship is not available.
