About the Role
Westhaven Ltd is expanding rapidly in Albury, seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join their team as Support Workers in both Adult and Children’s Services. This position involves much more than routine caregiving; it requires you to empower clients to live independently and enrich their lives through various activities and personalized care.
What the Job Entails
- Teaching new skills to children or adults to foster greater independence in daily routines.
- Organizing and participating in community outings, hobbies, and social events to encourage inclusion.
- Providing respectful personal care, attending medical appointments, and maintaining accurate records including case notes and incident reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must hold a valid NSW or VIC Driver’s Licence and be comfortable driving.
- Current First Aid & CPR certifications are required.
- Possession of a paid NDIS Workers Check (NDSWC) and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Willingness to be registered on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
- A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for supporting inclusion; qualifications in Disability or Community Services are advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wages between $36.22 and $39.53 under the SCHADS Award, including casual and shift loadings plus a 12% superannuation contribution.
