About Tranzit Coachlines Bay of Plenty
Tranzit Coachlines Bay of Plenty operates various public transportation services throughout the Bay of Plenty region. Preparing for a new contract starting January 2027, they are inviting expressions of interest from reliable and confident drivers to become part of their team.
Role Overview
This role involves operating school bus services around Tauranga on weekdays, typically totaling around 15 hours weekly. Additional driving opportunities exist for transfers and charters if desired, and drivers enjoy school holidays off. The position offers permanent part-time employment within a supportive environment that values community contribution. Drivers of all vehicle classes are encouraged to apply as training and upskilling are provided.

Candidate Profile
- Friendly and confident individuals who enjoy engaging with others; prior bus industry experience is not necessary.
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and comfort in speaking with people.
- A safe and confident driver with a clean driving record and at least two years holding a full car license.
- Possession of a class 2 license and P Endorsement is desired but not mandatory; training assistance is available.
Comprehensive training will be provided to prepare you for success in this role.
