This opportunity is for a part-time remote onboarding consultant supporting an executive search firm. The role involves speaking with pre-screened, qualified companies that are seeking help with open positions. Responsibilities
- Conduct 1 to 3 scheduled video calls per day with prospective clients interested in executive recruitment support.
- Use a structured qualification approach to determine whether the opportunity is a mutual fit.
- Explain the value of the recruitment solution clearly, with emphasis on business outcomes and return on investment.
- Listen actively and maintain a professional, composed presence in every discussion.
- Collect important requirements and insights, then hand qualified prospects over to the recruiting team smoothly.
- Follow up promptly with leads and newly onboarded clients to address questions.
- Work with administration to make sure next steps, timelines, and expectations are properly documented.
- Record call notes, status updates, and next steps in the CRM and Slack right after each interaction.
- Monitor your own pipeline metrics and suggest improvements to help raise conversion rates.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of proven success in full-cycle recruiting or consultative B2B sales, with a history of closing service engagements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex hiring solutions in simple client-friendly language.
- Ability to ask probing questions, uncover needs, and summarize information accurately to confirm understanding.
- Good analytical judgment and problem-solving skills to interpret data and feedback and recommend practical process improvements.
- Comfort using CRM tools, Slack or Microsoft Teams, and common office software for logging notes and tracking pipelines.
- Ability to work independently, manage time well, and consistently meet agreed performance goals from a professional home office.
- At least 25 years of total work experience.
- Preferred traits include an entrepreneurial mindset and a solid understanding of IT and CRM software.
