Role Overview

As a Part-Time Personal Host or Relocation Consultant, you will act as a reliable advisor for corporate clients and their relocating employees, assisting at every step of their move. Your responsibilities include managing key logistics and delivering personalized support to help newcomers acclimatize to their new city. This position is predominantly remote (60-70%) with about 30-40% in-person engagements across Singapore. Flexibility in scheduling is required to ensure availability aligned with client needs and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong rapport with relocating individuals by understanding their needs and addressing concerns throughout relocation.
• Provide detailed advice on Singapore neighborhoods, transportation options, and cultural insights to inform decisions.
• Conduct comprehensive research on housing options, rental trends, schools, commute times, and neighborhood suitability per client preferences.
• Offer support for school choices including public and private options, facilitate school viewings and assist in admission processes.
• Assist with local essential services such as driver's license conversion, banking arrangements, and other logistical tasks to enable smooth settling in.
• Guide clients through compliance with local regulations such as municipal registration, social ID acquisition, and tax registration.
• Curate personalized social, cultural, and recreational activity suggestions including dining, networking, fitness, and family-oriented venues.
• Compile customized reports and information leveraging local insights, research, Relocity’s proprietary software, and GSuite tools.
• Organize and lead area tours, both virtual and physical, showcasing key neighborhoods and amenities.
• Maintain regular communication through various channels to provide updates and address inquiries.
• Serve as the main liaison among relocating employees, clients, partners, and vendors to ensure a consistent experience.
• Manage multiple relocations concurrently with strong organization, attention to detail, and proactive communication.
• Maintain thorough client records and document interactions to ensure procedural compliance and timely task completion.

Candidate Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in Singapore.
• At least 5 years residency in Singapore with thorough knowledge of local rental markets, education systems, and registration protocols.
• Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week with flexibility to work weekends as needed.
• Outgoing and personable with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven and capable of independent work and managing one’s own schedule effectively.
• Previous experience in personal relocation or moving assistance is advantageous but not mandatory.

Education and Technical Proficiencies

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google GSuite, and CRM software is required.
• Must possess a laptop, smartphone, and reliable internet access to fulfill job duties.

Communication Skills

• Ability to comprehend various documents such as contracts, safety instructions, and operational manuals.
• Capable of drafting routine reports and correspondence effectively.
• Comfortable speaking formally to groups of clients or employees.

Compensation and Equal Opportunity
