Job Summary
This part-time position involves varying hours, from a minimum of 8 hours monthly up to 100 hours, depending on team needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze medical records and bills for relevance and causality on behalf of clients.
- Examine medical records to assess the care provided and the claimant's condition.
- Conduct research using medical journals.
- Assist clients by preparing and organizing medical evidence.
- Identify and assess issues, omissions, or inconsistencies in medical documentation.
- Compile detailed case summaries.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of residence.
- Minimum of three years clinical experience and at least one year reviewing medical records.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Skill in multitasking across several software platforms efficiently and accurately.
- Capability to quickly learn new software workflows and systems.
- Experienced in organizing electronic information from various sources into comprehensive reports.
- Comfortable using cloud-based collaboration and shared document tools.
- Strong written communication skills, including grammar and sentence structure.
