Position Overview
Walrus Health seeks part-time Clinical Pharmacists to engage directly with members, building trust and creating personalized care plans through an innovative mobile platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with members via the Walrus mobile app to provide on-demand access to licensed pharmacists.
- Administer tailored health surveys aligned with members' specific health conditions.
- Monitor and track symptoms and medication side effects in real-time.
- Utilize AI-driven prompts activated by members for enhanced care delivery.
- Work collaboratively across functions with Walrus team members on clinical and strategic projects.
- Contribute to client and prospective partner discussions as needed.
- Offer clinical coverage beyond regular business hours when required.
Qualifications
- Possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or an equivalent advanced degree.
- Hold an active pharmacist license in good standing within Illinois and at least one other U.S. state.
- Must reside and be authorized to work in any U.S. state.
- Completion of an accredited residency program (PGY-1 or PGY-2) is essential.
- Minimum of two years’ experience providing direct patient care and collaborating with healthcare providers.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret healthcare data and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency with knowledge of databases and reporting tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of drug administration and disease state management.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Comfortable working remotely and flexible to travel when necessary.
Preferred Skills
- Licensure to practice pharmacy in multiple states.
- Experience in digital health environments, particularly virtual care platforms.
- Board Certification in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy (BCACP) or equivalent credential.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage ranging from $50 to $70, commensurate with experience and suitability for the role.
- Fully remote work arrangement.
