Position Overview
This Part-Time Associate role in Growth Marketing is integral to expanding New York City FC's fanbase and elevating engagement. The role supports data-driven initiatives designed to attract new supporters, convert engagement into ticket sales, and cultivate lasting loyalty. Candidates will gain hands-on experience contributing to marketing campaigns across email, paid media, and CRM platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, implementing, and refining fan acquisition and retention campaigns through digital channels.
- Coordinate campaign setups alongside marketing, ticketing, and business intelligence teams.
- Help develop creative briefs, track campaign performance, and deliver insights for optimization.
- Monitor and evaluate key growth indicators.
- Generate ideas for new growth strategies, experiments, and improvements to the fan experience.
- Oversee feedback management and daily maintenance of the club's loyalty program.
- Ensure all communications align with brand standards and maintain quality outreach to current and prospective fans.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1 to 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or dynamic consumer brands.
- Detail-focused multitasker who thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Proactive, open to innovation, eager to learn, and well-organized.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Capable of working independently, taking initiative, and maintaining professionalism within a sports organization.
- Fluency in additional languages is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
- Compliance with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policies and relevant child safety regulations applicable to NYCFC employees.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Working Relationships
- Reports to Director of Growth Marketing.
- Collaborates with Manager of Media Buying, Manager of Lifecycle Marketing, Senior Manager of Digital, and cross-functional teams such as Ticketing, Partnership Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Design.
