Role Overview
This is a part-time remote opportunity to join Magic Dusk as a Graphic Designer specializing in paid social ads designed for platforms such as Meta & TikTok, particularly tailored to beauty and consumer packaged goods brands. The focus is on developing highly engaging and conversion-optimized static and motion advertisements (motion ads involve editing only).
Key Responsibilities
- Design paid social advertisements primarily for Meta & TikTok platforms.
- Create static image ads as well as edit short-form motion graphics including videos, GIFs, and animated assets.
- Develop multiple ad variations to facilitate creative testing and optimization.
- Collaborate closely with performance marketing teams to ensure creative output aligns with key performance indicators.
- Translate overall brand creative direction into ads that prioritize user conversion.
- Modify and improve designs based on analytic feedback and performance metrics.
- Occasionally assist with additional digital creative assets as required.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience designing Meta platform advertisements specifically for beauty or consumer packaged goods brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating paid social creative work encompassing both static and motion ad formats.
- Clear understanding of best practices for Meta advertising and performance-driven ad design principles.
- Proficiency in Figma for graphic design tasks.
- Ability to use CapCut for editing motion content.
- Additional motion design skills using After Effects, Premiere, or related software are desirable.
- Capability to maintain brand consistency while experimenting creatively.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
Compensation and Work Details
- Hourly wage ranges from $40 to $50 per hour, dependent on experience.
- Work approximately 30 to 40 hours per month in a fully remote setup.
- Part-time role structured as a freelance-style engagement.
