Position Overview
We are recruiting Parking Officers to join our team in Greensborough, Victoria. This is a permanent full-time opportunity to serve local communities by ensuring parking compliance and enhancing public safety in the Banyule City Council and La Trobe University areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols in assigned zones to oversee parking rule adherence.
- Issue infringement notices according to Victorian road rules and relevant council regulations.
- Provide clear explanations of parking and road regulations to community members and visitors.
- Accurately document enforcement actions and maintain detailed records.
- Identify and report any incidents, hazards, or concerns related to public safety.
- Act professionally and uphold integrity while representing the council.

Working Hours and Conditions
- Work schedule includes a rotating roster over six days (Monday to Saturday) with shifts between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
- Occasional overtime may be necessary, varying by client needs.
- Eligibility for shift and weekend allowances where applicable.
