Job description
Role Overview
This position supports day-to-day parking lot operations for a mobility and parking technology company focused on smooth, ticketless parking experiences. The role is centered on keeping the lot organized, customer-friendly, and clean while helping traffic move safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Guide arriving drivers to open parking spaces.
- Monitor the number of vehicles on site during the shift when needed.
- Issue warning notices to tenants and visitors who do not follow garage rules.
- Walk or use a motor cart, where available, to check transient and reserved parking areas.
- Help customers who cannot remember where they parked.
- Show up for every scheduled shift, on time and in the required uniform.
- Answer customer questions in a polite and helpful manner, and escalate to the facility manager when necessary.
- Direct vehicle flow at entry and exit points as needed.
- Support parking equipment upkeep and carry out general maintenance tasks assigned by the facility manager.
- Report accidents, policy issues, safety concerns, or anything unusual to the facility manager.
- Notify the garage office about debris, standing water, oil spills, and similar issues.
- Step in for valet duties when authorized and required.
- Maintain strong familiarity with the garage layout, nearby streets, landmarks, and freeway access points.
- Assist the facility manager with additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Less than high school education, or around 1 month of related experience/training, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Ability to understand simple instructions, brief messages, and memos, and to write basic correspondence.
- Comfortable speaking one-on-one with customers and coworkers.
- Basic math ability, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and handling U.S. currency.
- Neat, clean appearance and full uniform compliance at all times.
- Capacity to stand and walk regularly, use hands for cash and equipment, and occasionally sit, climb, balance, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Valid state driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record if driving a company vehicle or conducting company business by vehicle is required.
- Availability for location-based shift needs, which may include second shift, third shift, and/or weekends.

Compensation
The pay range for this role is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour.
