Job description

Role overview

SP+, part of the Metropolis group, focuses on parking technology powered by artificial intelligence and computer vision. Its systems are designed to remove the need for tickets, payment machines, mobile apps, or credit cards so drivers can simply enter and exit without friction. The company operates one of the largest parking networks in the United States, with more than 23,000 employees supporting mobility at over 4,000 sites across North America and Europe.

The organization is building a future where parking and other everyday experiences are faster, easier, and more convenient, helping people save time in daily life.

Shift and pay

This is a first-shift, on-site position in Seattle, Washington. The pay rate is $23.00 to $24.00 per hour.

What you will do

  • Keep the proper number of vehicles on site during the shift and ensure cars are parked appropriately while the lot remains orderly and welcoming.
  • Guide arriving customers to open parking spots.
  • Count vehicles on the property as needed throughout the shift.
  • Issue warning notices to tenants and visitors who break garage rules.
  • Walk transient and reserved parking levels or use company-approved motor carts, where available, to patrol the area.
  • Help customers who cannot remember where they parked.
  • Arrive for every scheduled shift on time and in the required uniform.
  • Respond politely to customer questions and refer them to the Facility Manager when additional help is needed.
  • Manage traffic flow at entry and exit points when required.
  • Support parking equipment upkeep and carry out general maintenance tasks assigned by the Facility Manager.
  • Escalate accidents, suspected policy breaches, safety concerns, or unusual incidents to the Facility Manager.
  • Notify the garage office about debris, water, oil spills, and similar issues.
  • Step in as a valet when authorized and necessary.
  • Maintain strong familiarity with the garage, nearby major streets, landmarks, and freeways.
  • Assist the Facility Manager with other tasks as needed.

If driving a company vehicle or driving on company business is required, a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record must be maintained.

Employees are expected to maintain a neat, clean appearance and remain in full uniform at all times.

The job involves standing, walking, and using hands to handle cash and equipment most of the time, with some sitting and climbing/balancing. The role may require lifting or moving up to 25 pounds occasionally.
