Parcelforce Collection & Delivery Driver

About the Role

Join Parcelforce Worldwide as a Collection & Delivery Driver operating from our Coventry location. This permanent full-time position requires working 38 hours weekly with possibilities for overtime, typically from Wednesday to Saturday between 07:30 and 17:30.

Compensation and Benefits

• Initial salary of £25,201 per annum (£12.71 per hour)
• After six months, salary increases to £27,561 per annum (£13.94 per hour)
• Potential to earn up to £30,000 annually including overtime (based on a 38-hour workweek plus overtime)
• Weekend premium pay: £4.39 extra per hour on Saturdays, £6.58 extra per hour on Sundays
• Paid overtime on both weekdays and weekends
• Monthly non-pensionable pay addition totaling £903.84 annually
• Weekly driving allowance of £26.73

Key Responsibilities

• Sort parcels and organize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
• Perform mandatory safety inspections on delivery vehicles
• Collect and deliver parcels to residential and commercial addresses
• Provide reliable, friendly customer service emphasizing care for every delivery, whether a gift or important business correspondence

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full manual UK driving licence (Category B, vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes) registered to current address, with no more than six penalty points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30 kilograms
• A personable, dependable individual with a strong customer focus
• Comfortable working independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
