Paint Shop Supervisor

Role Overview

We are urgently seeking a Paint Shop Supervisor for a manufacturing company based in Chakan, Pune. The position involves overseeing paint shop and surface preparation activities while ensuring adherence to quality and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations within the paint shop and manage surface preparation processes effectively.
• Monitor painting quality parameters including coating thickness, color consistency, and overall finish quality.
• Maintain accurate production records, including rejection rates and shift reports.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth workflow.
• Ensure adherence to workplace standards such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial paint operations.
• Familiarity with industrial painting methods and quality benchmarks.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data management and reporting.
• Strong leadership capabilities along with effective communication and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time position with employment through a third-party payroll.
• Location: Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra, India.
