Job description
Role Overview
We are urgently seeking a Paint Shop Supervisor for a manufacturing company based in Chakan, Pune. The position involves overseeing paint shop and surface preparation activities while ensuring adherence to quality and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all operations within the paint shop and manage surface preparation processes effectively.
- Monitor painting quality parameters including coating thickness, color consistency, and overall finish quality.
- Maintain accurate production records, including rejection rates and shift reports.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth workflow.
- Ensure adherence to workplace standards such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and safety protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial paint operations.
- Familiarity with industrial painting methods and quality benchmarks.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data management and reporting.
- Strong leadership capabilities along with effective communication and troubleshooting skills.
Additional Information
- This is a full-time position with employment through a third-party payroll.
- Location: Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra, India.
