Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Paint Shop Staff member with at least three years of experience in paint shops, hardware, or building materials stores. The ideal candidate will be proficient in paint mixing, color matching, and customer engagement.
Key Duties
- Operate paint mixing machines and tinting systems accurately.
- Advise customers on appropriate paints, primers, putties, and waterproofing solutions.
- Manage stock effectively and support billing processes using basic computer skills.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and organization to ensure a professional environment.
- Demonstrate punctuality, honesty, and accountability in all tasks.
Skills and Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of interior and exterior paint types.
- Experience in paint mixing and color matching techniques.
- Customer service skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Basic understanding of waterproofing substances.
- Familiarity with billing procedures and basic computer operation is preferred.
Qualifications
- Completed secondary education (10th or 12th grade) or higher.
- Proficiency in Malayalam is essential; knowledge of Tamil or English is advantageous.
- Availability for immediate joining is preferred.
Salary and Location
The position offers a monthly salary of ₹30,000 along with accommodation. The workplace is located at Melattur, within the Ora Paints shop in Malappuram, Kerala.
