Role overview
This position focuses on planning and running paid digital campaigns that help increase customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue. The successful candidate will bring strong paid media expertise, ideally within the mobile telecommunications space, and will work closely with external agencies to deliver strong campaign outcomes.
Paid media strategy
You will design and roll out paid media plans across channels such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, programmatic platforms, and affiliate networks. A key part of the job is spotting fresh opportunities to improve reach, customer growth, and brand presence while keeping all activity consistent with the wider marketing direction and brand voice.
Agency partnership
As the main contact for external digital agencies, you will guide their work, set expectations, and ensure delivery stays aligned with company goals and timelines. You will also assess agency performance on a regular basis, review campaign outputs and results, and lead quarterly business reviews to improve the value delivered by agency partners.
Campaign execution
The role includes managing the full lifecycle of paid campaigns, from planning and launch through to ongoing optimization. This covers budget handling, audience targeting, creative input, and A/B testing. You will use performance data to refine campaigns, improve return on investment, and meet key performance indicators. You will also work with internal teams to shape effective ad messaging and strengthen landing pages for better conversion.
Analytics and reporting
You will analyse campaign results, turn findings into practical recommendations, and support continuous improvement across all paid media activity. Regular reporting will be required, with clear summaries of wins, challenges, and optimization opportunities. You will also present updates and insights to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Budget ownership
This role carries responsibility for managing the paid media budget, allocating funds efficiently, and maximizing return on spend. You will track media expenditure closely and make adjustments in response to campaign performance and changing market conditions.
Collaboration and leadership
You will partner with teams across the business, both locally and internationally, including product marketing, sales, and customer insights, to ensure paid media activity supports wider commercial objectives. The role also includes supporting junior colleagues through guidance and mentorship to help build a strong, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
Experience and technical capability
We are looking for someone with 4 to 6 years of experience in paid media management, including at least 2 years working with third-party digital agencies. Experience in the mobile telecommunications industry is important, along with a strong understanding of consumer behavior and digital trends. A successful candidate will also have handled large-scale campaigns with significant budgets and delivered measurable business results.
Technical strength is needed across major advertising and analytics tools, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, programmatic buying platforms, Google Analytics, and Data Studio or similar reporting tools. Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms will be an added advantage.
Professional skills
Strong communication, negotiation, and people skills are essential, along with solid project management ability and careful attention to deadlines and detail. The environment is fast-moving, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable balancing several priorities at once, working independently when needed, and contributing effectively as part of a team.
