Role overview
This position sits within a fast-moving blockchain environment supported by experienced developers, cryptographers, technologists, marketers, influencers, and external agencies. The business is also backed by notable stakeholders, including Innovating Capital, a well-known venture fund.
What you'll do
- Investigate, architect, and deliver foundational smart contract systems.
- Create, support, and connect multi-chain bridge components that communicate with blockchain networks through RPC APIs.
- Build smart contracts with Solidity, Rust, and JavaScript.
- Design high-performance REST APIs and backend services using a microservices approach.
- Develop open-source client tools that let users interact directly with the protocol.
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience with blockchain development, including at least one production-grade blockchain codebase.
- Solid understanding of core blockchain concepts, including Ethereum, Avalanche, and Cosmos.
- Practical experience building smart contracts with Solidity, Vyper, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with EVM, the Ethereum platform, IBC, and CosmWasm.
- Experience working with Web3 APIs.
- Exposure to security review or audit work for smart contract systems.
- Understanding of basic blockchain architecture concepts such as BFT, peer-to-peer networks, and consensus mechanisms.
- At least 2 years of experience in Ethereum or a related infrastructure area.
