Job Overview

The P247 Technician position supports operation and maintenance activities of the Patriot Transmitter Tank Test Stations and its Cooling System, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the test station for PAT 247 Patriot transmitter tank.
  • Conduct acceptance testing, combustion processes, fault detection, troubleshooting, and repair of final tanks and the high-pressure primary power supply actuators for the transmitter regulator.
  • Maintain operational status of high-pressure power supply components removed for repair.
  • Detect irreparable tank defects and isolate faults requiring part replacement.
  • Replace or repair defective components to restore unit function.
  • Test and certify Unit Under Test (UUT) to return it to serviceable condition.
  • Engage in On-the-Job Training programs to enhance skills.
  • Identify improper work methods and oversee correct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
  • Prepare and submit detailed maintenance and Systems Problem Reports (SPRs).
  • Perform additional related duties within the same technical domain as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Electronics from a recognized local or foreign institution.
  • Saudi national status is mandatory.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment at central maintenance stations or manufacturing testing facilities, including troubleshooting and fault isolation of electronic units and subassemblies.
  • Proven expertise in fundamental and advanced electronics, including the ability to test combustion processes and troubleshoot, repair high-pressure regulator supply cabinets in Patriot transmitter systems.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering documentation, schematic diagrams, and using general-purpose commercial test equipment.
