Position Overview

Working as a Dairy/Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the retail sector. Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the Dairy/Frozen department efficiently.
• Rotate inventory while monitoring expiration dates to ensure product freshness.
• Ensure all merchandise is clearly priced and properly signed.
• Comply with standards and policies including cold chain management, thermometer calibration, temperature logging, food handling protocols, product rotation, and adherence to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow sanitation and cleaning procedures strictly to maintain food safety and hygiene.
• Manage ordering processes, clearance sales, price adjustments, signage, flagging, and labeling appropriately.
• Maintain promotional features and displays within the department.
• Keep the working area tidy, clean, and free from clutter or hazards like unnecessary debris, foreign objects, or spills.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
