Over-The-Counter Associate

Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter Associate plays a vital role in assisting customers, managing the assigned department area, and supporting operations as directed by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager. This position emphasizes excellent customer service and adherence to Walmart’s core values.

Key Duties

• Ensure confidentiality of patient information in accordance with privacy regulations.
• Support the increase of sales and profitability within the department under the guidance of pharmacy leadership.
• Regularly rotate stock and monitor expiration dates to maintain product quality.
• Organize and zone the assigned department space efficiently.
• Follow established procedures for ordering, clearance, price adjustments, and proper labeling.
• Maintain the department area in a clean and orderly state, free from clutter and hazards.
• Ensure accuracy in pricing through adherence to scanning and verification protocols.
• Perform calibration and maintenance of equipment involved in the prescription process.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $16.15 CAD.
