The organization is hiring an Outpatient Support and Data Specialist for the Midway Outpatient location. This position focuses on making sure clients are scheduled promptly, gathering the right documents, maintaining accurate demographic and insurance information, and coordinating appointments to create a smooth experience for clients and families. The role also includes managing incoming calls, voicemails, and return calls.
Core duties
- Set up client insurance information in the electronic medical records system.
- Answer customer phone calls and arrange initial appointments.
- Coordinate first-time client contact and intake-related steps.
- Calculate and explain client fees according to agency rules.
- Match scheduling needs, including in-person or Zoom visits, with provider requirements and client access needs.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of clerical or scheduling experience.
- Prior experience in a healthcare office is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is required, along with the ability to work assigned hours.
- Must be able to clear a Level 2 background check through DCF and AHCA Clearinghouse.
