Job description
About Cadence
Cadence is a clinical AI company focused on providing continuous, proactive care for older adults living with chronic conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, and diabetes. The company connects patients with a dedicated clinical team, integrates with health system EMRs and workflows, and uses its Clinical Intelligence platform to watch vitals, identify risk early, improve medication management, and close care gaps between visits. Cadence operates as a full clinical care delivery organization rather than a software vendor, working alongside health system partners to extend primary care support into patients’ homes.
The team is also expanding the use of AI agents across clinical workflows, including alert review, medication titration, lifestyle coaching, and care coordination, while clinicians retain control over medical decisions.
Role overview
Cadence is looking for an Outbound Patient Enrollment Specialist to contact patients referred by partner physicians and guide them through the enrollment journey from the first call through successful completion. This is a fast-paced, phone-heavy position that demands strong communication skills, accuracy, and careful attention to detail.
Schedule
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, either 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, across Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time.
What you'll do
- Explain the program clearly, including how it works, the benefits, expected outcomes, patient responsibilities, and why it matters to the patient.
- Lead virtual enrollment conversations and coordinate follow-up appointments with the Cadence Care team.
- Develop trust and a positive relationship with patients through respectful, empathetic communication.
- Use approved scripts to stay aligned with quality standards while still sounding natural and genuine.
- Balance strong patient experience with productivity expectations in a high-volume outreach setting.
What you need
- Experience making a large number of outbound calls.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability, with confidence in answering questions and easing patient concerns.
- Strict respect for patient privacy and compliance with HIPAA and Cadence confidentiality standards.
- Comfort using CRM systems and managing an active call pipeline.
- Ability to build rapport and handle questions effectively in a phone-based environment.
- Comfort working in a feedback-driven environment built on trust, openness, and continuous improvement.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude and Google Gemini.
Compensation
The expected pay range for this role is $20 to $23 per hour, depending on scope, level, and location. The position also includes incentive compensation, with an on-target earnings range of $60K to $70K. Final pay will be based on experience, skills, internal equity, and applicable law.
Benefits and perks
- Competitive salary and equity
- Fully remote work
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Paid time off
- 401(k) plan with employer matching
- Paid parental leave
- Home office stipend
- Benefit details may vary by job profile, level, and worker type
