About the Role
This permanent, full-time position is based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, with a salary of 29,375 per year. The Out of Hours Officer is part of a dedicated team supporting vulnerable residents outside regular office hours, providing essential assistance and enhancing their safety and security throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
Officers will handle diverse duties such as coordinating emergency repairs like broken boilers, facilitating urgent relocations for residents in need, and checking on individuals flagged by staff as facing difficulties. The role requires responsiveness to varied and urgent situations, ensuring the well-being and security of those served.
Desired Experience and Qualities
Previous experience in housing, support services, or security may be advantageous, but more importantly, candidates should align with the organizations values, demonstrate a strong desire to assist others, and be motivated to positively impact lives.
