Job description
Role Overview
NHS Scotland has an opening for an Out of Hours General Practitioner within the Inverness OOH Service, operating from Raigmore Hospital. This is a patient-facing post within a supportive and established team, delivering medical care to a broad mix of patients outside standard working hours.
The service is known for its strong focus on high-quality, person-centred care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary group that includes Advanced Practitioners, GPs, and Nurses. The work can vary significantly, covering both urgent clinical needs and palliative care.
There are 2 posts available, each offering 9.5 hours per week.
Working Pattern
This role is scheduled across out-of-hours periods: Monday to Friday from 18:30 until midnight, and Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 until midnight.
Pay
The salary range is £119,044 to £142,908 per year, paid pro rata.
