Role Overview

The Orthopaedic Surgeon will be responsible for delivering comprehensive orthopedic medical services focusing on spine and general musculoskeletal health. This includes outpatient evaluations, diagnosing, and managing conditions both surgically and non-surgically. Daily duties involve patient assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic imaging and lab tests, developing individualized treatment plans, performing orthopedic and spine surgeries, and managing post-operative recovery in partnership with physiotherapy teams. The position requires keeping precise medical documentation, participating in multidisciplinary clinical discussions, and contributing to continuous quality and safety improvements in line with the center's emphasis on data-driven care. This is an on-site, full-time role based in Doha.

Qualifications and Skills

• Medical degree with board certification or equivalent specialization in Orthopedics or Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Proven clinical and surgical expertise managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
• Particular experience with spine-related surgical procedures is highly valued.
• Possession of a valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in Qatar; completion of accredited orthopedic residency and fellowship training is preferred.
• Skilled in evaluating imaging such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI, and applying evidence-based clinical protocols.
• Strong commitment to patient-focused care paired with excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with technology-enhanced or data-driven clinical settings is advantageous; willingness to incorporate AI-assisted diagnostic tools is desired.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills and cultural competence with diverse populations are additional assets.
