Role Overview
This full-time, on-site Orthodontist position in Tabūk involves evaluating dental and facial structure, identifying orthodontic issues, and creating tailored treatment plans for each patient. The role includes fitting and fine-tuning braces and aligners, reviewing treatment progress, and advising patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
Key Duties
- Examine patients’ teeth, jaws, and facial alignment to determine orthodontic needs.
- Diagnose malocclusions and other orthodontic conditions and outline appropriate treatment plans.
- Place, adjust, and monitor braces, aligners, and related orthodontic appliances.
- Track treatment outcomes and make changes when necessary to keep progress on course.
- Provide guidance on oral hygiene, preventive practices, and day-to-day care during treatment.
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation for each patient.
- Work closely with dentists, physicians, and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and family members on treatment options, procedures, and expected results.
- Follow safety protocols, quality standards, and applicable professional regulations.
- Support a respectful, inclusive, and comfortable experience for every patient.
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of dentistry and orthodontics, including the diagnosis and treatment of malocclusions and related concerns.
- Practical capability in treatment planning and the safe application of orthodontic devices and procedures.
- Background in comprehensive dental care, including preventive, restorative, and follow-up treatment across varied patient groups.
- A recognized dental degree with specialization in orthodontics, along with a valid license or eligibility to practice in the region.
- Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly and collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing learning, and consistently high ethical and safety standards.
