About the Role
The Ordertaker / Waiter for In-Villa Dining at Nammos Resort AMAALA plays a key role in delivering a flawless and personalized private dining experience for guests staying in villas and suites. This position covers the entire service process, from taking orders over the phone to the in-room presentation, setup, and clearance, while maintaining the utmost standards of discretion and luxury hospitality. The goal is to create memorable and exclusive fine-dining moments tailored to each guest's preferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Promptly and courteously handle all incoming calls to the In-Villa Dining department with professional telephone etiquette.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the In-Villa Dining menu to answer guest queries, offer recommendations, and accommodate special dietary needs.
- Ensure precise recording of guest orders, paying careful attention to allergies, dietary restrictions, and individual preferences.
- Efficiently input orders into the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and coordinate with the kitchen to confirm preparation timelines.
- Inform guests about estimated delivery times and confirm all order details before concluding calls.
- Prepare and assemble trays and trolleys adhering to the highest standards of presentation, including all necessary cutlery, glassware, linens, and condiments.
- Deliver food and beverages discreetly and punctually to guest villas and suites.
- Arrange the dining setup in guests' accommodations with the elegance and attention to detail expected of fine-dining service.
- Obtain guests’ signatures for billing and manage charges as per the resort’s procedures.
- Promptly and discreetly clear trays upon guest requests or as scheduled.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock accuracy of the In-Villa Dining station and related equipment.
- Communicate seamlessly with kitchen, stewarding, and other Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth service operations.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve minor issues regarding In-Villa Dining professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in Food & Beverage roles within five-star luxury hotels or fine-dining restaurants.
- Previous exposure to In-Villa Dining (Room Service) or Fine Dining is highly desirable.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong command of spoken and written English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication capabilities.
- Deep understanding and adaptability of fine-dining service standards to an in-room setting.
- Keen attention to detail regarding order accuracy and service presentation.
- Ability to work independently with discretion, integrity, and respect for guest privacy.
- Proficiency in the use of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
- Calm and efficient working style in fast-paced environments.
