Role Overview

We are looking for an Order Management Specialist to join our expanding team in Omaha, NE, working onsite Tuesday through Thursday. This role is central in managing communications, ensuring data accuracy, and resolving issues involving key customers, co-packers, and internal departments to achieve timely, complete deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete customer order lifecycle including order receipt, entry, validation, and tracking using ERP and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems.
  • Act as the primary point of contact among customers, co-packers, and internal teams such as Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance, ensuring clear, professional, and coordinated communications.
  • Coordinate outbound logistics and truck scheduling to guarantee on-time and cost-efficient shipments, preventing capacity challenges.
  • Monitor and reconcile purchase orders, goods receipts, and inventory held by co-packers to maintain accurate inventory data and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing, product availability, and contractual obligations with co-packers.
  • Investigate and address order discrepancies, delivery issues, customer deductions, chargebacks, and compliance penalties in line with company policies.

Candidate Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, order management, or related roles.
  • Proficient in Excel for data analysis, insight generation, and reporting support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
