Role overview
AMOREPACIFIC is hiring an Order Management / Retail Operations Specialist in New York, NY. This full-time onsite role focuses on the daily handling of customer orders and the operational work that supports them. The position partners closely with Sales, Planning, Warehouse, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to keep orders moving accurately, on time, and in line with business priorities.
The right candidate will be highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable balancing several priorities in a busy environment while protecting order accuracy and supporting wider business goals.
What you'll do
- Handle customer purchase orders across the entire order cycle, including receipt, fulfillment, and invoicing.
- Work with Sales, Planning, Warehouse, and other internal teams to clear order-related issues and support operational needs.
- Track order progress and help ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Keep order management records accurate and current in the system.
- Maintain master data so information stays complete, correct, and up to date.
- Help prioritize orders based on business and operational requirements.
- Update order tracking reports and system records.
- Support the resolution of chargebacks, deductions, order mismatches, and shipment problems.
- Process product returns and manage the associated records and system updates.
- Prepare reports on order activity, fulfillment performance, and operational metrics.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts that raise efficiency and accuracy.
- Share order confirmations, changes, and shipping updates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Make sure retailer routing guides and internal procedures are followed.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain on Value Added Services.
- Take on additional tasks and special projects as needed.
- Be available for flexible scheduling, including occasional extended hours, weekends, and holidays during peak periods and operational demand.
Experience and skills
- At least 2 years of experience in operations, sales, or a similar area.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, reporting, and data analysis.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, including identifying root causes and applying practical fixes.
- Well-developed organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving setting.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills across departments.
- Independent working style with good judgment and the ability to escalate issues when needed.
- Exposure to EDI and retailer compliance standards is a plus.
- Experience with SAP, Shopify, and/or Order Management Systems (OMS) is preferred.
