About ABB and Role Overview

The Order Handling Specialist role supports our Motion business within the Traction division based in Vadodara, India and reports directly to the Project, Planning & Fulfilment Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain focus on meeting defined targets, such as inventory turnover for finished goods, requested on-time delivery, and improving the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Manage order processing by collaborating with internal departments including Sales, Product Marketing, and Logistics to ensure customers receive accurate and timely product deliveries.
- Serve as the primary contact point for customers regarding inquiries and order status, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
- Provide support in both pre-sales and after-sales stages by addressing customer concerns and facilitating effective communication through specialized commercial communication tools.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess 4 to 8 years of experience preferably in project management.
- Hold a full-time engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
- Experience in the motor or rolling stock industry is advantageous.
- Adhere strictly to ABB's values and ethics, ensuring integrity and compliance across all activities.
- Understand and apply Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards, including hazard reporting and risk management.
