Job description
Role and Responsibilities
This role involves managing Oracle Security within the Oracle Cloud ERP environment. Key responsibilities include expertise in Segregation of Duties (SoD), Risk Management, and the creation and customization of roles to meet client-specific needs. The position requires a proactive approach, including editing existing roles and developing new ones from scratch when necessary.
Must-Have Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience supporting Oracle Cloud ERP security in a production support capacity.
- Deep expertise in FSCM and HCM modules, with a foundational understanding of security assessments and design.
- A clear grasp of end-to-end business processes, cloud security risks, Oracle application security, and risk management within daily operations.
- Proficiency in using the Oracle Cloud Security Console for managing custom roles, user access administration (adding/modifying users, assigning roles, managing profiles), and data security.
- Experience in managing data roles, custom security profiles, Area of Responsibility (AOR) assignments, and performing HCM Data Loader (HDL) activities.
- Hands-on experience with quarterly update impact analysis, regression testing support, periodic user access reviews and audits, Segregation of Duties (SOD) analysis, and mitigation strategies.
- Experience in securing Oracle BI / OTBI artifacts, including reports, data models, subject areas, and analyses, and managing authorization changes.
- Experience working within a ticket-based support model adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including incident and problem management, root-cause analysis, and reducing recurring issues. This involves coordination with development, functional, business, and information security/risk teams.
- Proven ability to manage and sustain controls, identify key risks, support SOX readiness and audits, optimize controls, and operate controls within Oracle Risk Management Cloud (RMC).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear runbooks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Strong organizational and project management skills are essential for planning access releases, coordinating approvals, and managing cutovers for security modifications.
Good-to-Have Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with Oracle GRC / RMC design or operations, including Advanced Access Controls (AAC), Advanced Financial Controls (AFC), and Financial Reporting Compliance (FRC).
- Implementation experience is beneficial for providing effective ongoing support and enhancements.
- Broader exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM modules can aid in faster troubleshooting and process-aware security support.
- Previous consulting experience, particularly from Big 4 firms, is advantageous.
- Experience with automation tools or scripting to streamline routine operational tasks, such as access review evidence collection, role audit extracts, and regression support.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and analysis using PL/SQL for issue investigation and validation.
