About the Role
Strada is looking for an Oracle Payroll Delivery Specialist to contribute to payroll and HCM delivery work in Kochi, Kerala. The role sits within a global organization that focuses on people, payroll, and technology solutions across more than 180 countries. You will support client implementations and application operations, working on projects that require accuracy, collaboration, and strong ownership.
What You’ll Do
- Support Oracle EBS/HCM payroll-related design, configuration, and implementation activities.
- Work independently while managing tickets and client interactions effectively.
- Provide functional and technical guidance for application support and implementation work.
- Create clean, maintainable solutions aligned with internal best practices.
- Partner with business analysts and clients to understand needs and translate them into enhancements and functionality.
- Own functional processes across multiple business areas.
- Lead problem-solving discussions with clients, internal teams, and project managers to keep work moving and resolve issues.
- Carry out configuration work for both new and existing functionality.
- Review configurations to ensure quality and correctness.
- Act as the functional integration owner for multiple process areas.
- Prepare Function Design Documents based on use case documents developed by business analysts.
- Execute system and integration testing using supplied or self-created test data.
- Document issues thoroughly from both technical and functional perspectives.
- Prioritize daily work, support project priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Share regular progress updates with team and project managers.
- Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, including status, resolutions, and root-cause updates.
- Understand HR process flows and the Oracle HCM/EBS architecture.
- Deliver assigned work packages on time and according to project timelines.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Oracle EBS/HCM design and configuration, ideally in a payroll environment.
- Ability to work on your own, manage tickets, and coordinate with clients.
- Experience supporting application implementations and providing advisory input.
- Comfort with configuration, testing, documentation, and issue resolution.
- Good understanding of HR workflows and Oracle HCM/EBS system structure.
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a business or technical focus, or an equivalent qualification.
- Oracle certification is an added advantage.
