Role Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant skilled in Oracle Application Framework (OAF). The role involves designing, customizing, developing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite R12 applications, including creation and enhancement of OAF components, integrations, workflows, reports, and database solutions. The consultant will ensure system stability and alignment with business goals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create customized OAF pages, extend controllers, and apply personalizations through Oracle JDeveloper.
• Enhance and modify core OAF elements like Entity Objects, View Objects, Controllers, and Application Modules.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex PL/SQL components such as packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Oversee the development and management of RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components and workflows.
• Build system integrations with Oracle APIs, interface tables, and utilize REST/SOAP web services.
• Configure, monitor, and resolve issues related to Oracle Workflows and the Approval Management Engine (AME).
• Develop dynamic reports using BI Publisher (XML Publisher) and Oracle Reports tools.
• Respond promptly to technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.
• Draft detailed technical design documentation including MD70 templates.
• Work collaboratively with functional teams to convert business needs into technical implementations.
• Adhere to Oracle EBS development standards, ensuring delivery of reliable and maintainable solutions.
• Offer ongoing technical support and produce comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Between five and ten years of proven Oracle EBS R12 technical development experience.
• Proficient in Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Java programming, SQL, and PL/SQL development.
• Solid working knowledge of Oracle Application Object Library (AOL/AOLJ).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Experience with Supply Chain Management modules like Purchasing, Inventory, and Order Management.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS Human Resources Management System (HRMS) is considered a plus.
• Expertise in Oracle JDeveloper, Workflow Builder, BI/XML Publisher, Toad, or SQL Developer.
• Strong analytical skills with effective communication, teamwork, and technical documentation abilities.
